“Active” information we collect
You have complete control of your personal information when you visit our site. Any personal information you provide to us will be used for the purpose for which it was provided to contact you. We use permission-based forms to help deliver customized information to you. If you complete a “problem form”, you will also be asked for questions specific to the product and/or service you purchased from us.
How we use “active” information

Here are examples of an action you may ask us to execute: register you to attend a webinar; answer a specific support issue, respond to an RMA request; and register you for a specific sales promotion and have a sales representative contact you. We do not use your personal information for any other purpose than the sole purpose it was intended.

“Passive” information we collect
Our site collects non-personal information. Examples of non-personal information include IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of visit, pages visited, and the site you visited before you visited our site. The passive information we collect does not connect to you personally.
How we use “Passive” information collected
We use this information to generate statistics on our site such as how many visitors we receive.
“Active” and “Passive” information we do not collect
If your “cookies” are turned on, small pieces of data are left behind on web sites that you visit. Our site does not use your “cookies”. If you would like to turn off your cookies, visit the “Help” feature of your web browser.
Third Party Services
There are also third parties that provide certain services on Kanatek’s behalf (e.g. support, etc.). Please be advised that Kanatek may, on occasion, find it necessary to provide certain information, including personal information that Kanatek collects from you, to a third party service provider in order to help us deliver specific programs, products, information, and services. Kanatek will take reasonable steps to ensure that these third party service providers are obligated to protect personal information on Kanatek’s behalf. Kanatek does not intend to transfer your personal information without your consent to third parties who are not bound to act on Kanatek ‘s behalf unless such transfer is legally required. Similarly, it is against Kanatek’s policy to sell personal information collected without your consent.
Children and privacy
Kanatek does not market it products or services to children; therefore, our company does not knowingly solicit children under the age of 13 to visit our web site.
All of our emails, which you may receive if you have given us permission to send you email, provide instructions on how to unsubscribe from our list. Current subscribers who wish to unsubscribe from any Kanatek electronic mailing may do so by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line.
