Kanatek installed a back up solution for a local government group in Ontario for their SAP infrastructure.
The project consisted of the implementation of hot backup for the SAP databases for the QA, production, and development SAP servers. The requirements analysis portion of the project included preparation, data gathering, documentation and analysis activities.
The project included the following major high level steps:
- Design of the architecture of the SAP hot backups
- Implementation of the SAP hot backup software and patches on the QA, production, and development SAP servers
- Testing the hot backups on the QA, production, and development SAP servers
- Perform a full and partial recovery of a database instance on the Production SAP server
- Delivery of Hot SAP Backup Configuration Document
