Fred Dimson - Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President, Fred Dimson is responsible for the day-to-day management of Kanatek, including overall strategic planning and business development, as well as overseeing all aspects of the company's sales and professional services activities.

Mr. Dimson joined the Kanatek team in February 2006, bringing with him 30+ years of managerial and sales expertise - working in enterprise-wide, business-to-business technology solutions, telecommunications and e-business solutions.

Prior to Kanatek, Mr. Dimson was the General Manager and Vice President of Operations of VERITAS Canada for 11 years before it was acquired by Symantec Corporation.

Over his tenure with VERITAS, the Canadian operations of the company grew significantly from a single office to offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary and Vancouver. Revenues for the Canadian operation went from $100,000 to over $100 Million in that timeframe.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Dimson held management positions at several high technology companies including, Pyramid Technologies, Philips Information Systems, Motorola, and Burroughs/Unisys. Throughout these diverse companies, he has maintained a good track record and a consistent plan within the sales goals established.

He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. Outside of the office, Mr. Dimson enjoys golf, swimming, card games, hiking, and watching his three children flourish and move into their own careers.
